We desire to be the faithful church laid out for us in New Testament Scripture and have no creed but the Bible. We are devoted followers of Jesus Christ who love Him and joyfully obey Him, and we hope that our lives and attitudes reflect that.
When we assemble, we . . .
– Sing together with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs (Colossians 3:16). We do not participate in instrumental music, rather boldly raise our voices together (Ephesians 5:19).
– Pray together, not only to praise and thank God, but also to ask for our needs and the needs of others (1 Timothy 2:1-5).
– Partake of the Lord’s Supper each first day of the week (Acts 20:7). The supper consists of unleavened bread and fruit of the vine, as memorials of the body and blood of Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 11:23-26; Matthew 26:26-29).
– Take up a collection each first day of the week (1 Corinthians 16:1-2). This congregation is supported financially by the contributions of its members. We do not ask visitors to contribute.
– Reference the Bible as our only guide and source of authority for sermons and Bible classes (2 Timothy 3:16-17). We strive to follow the pattern that the Father has shown us through His Word.
If you have any questions about our worship, what we say or what we do, please reach out to us and we will gladly speak with you. We encourage you to read the Bible and compare our actions and teachings to the Scripture to see “whether these things are so” (Acts 17:11).
